This database contains public record information on felony offenders managed by the US Department of Corrections. This database contains two types of data related to the release date of the inmate you are searching for. First, is the release date as ordered by the judge and the second, is the actual real release date. During serving life in prison, the inmate can have his judge ordered released date either prolonged or shortened, which will make up his real release date as a result. It should also be noted that inmates are often released earlier than it was ordered by the judge.
